Before it was a bowl, it was a barrel — bent by coopers, aged by decades of wine, marked by the hands that worked it. The same curve that once held vintage now holds fruit, bread, and ice for the next long table.

Each piece is shaped from the reclaimed staves of a single barrel, keeping the natural bow the cooper first bent by hand. The wine-stained oak carries its own grain and character, so no two bowls repeat. Waterproof, food-safe, and built to be handled, filled, and passed around a table for years — handmade in America, one at a time.

At thirty-six inches long, it holds its own on a kitchen island or a long table — piled with fruit, bread, or seafood on ice, or simply left empty as a sculptural piece between gatherings.

Care is simple: a damp cloth after use, a fresh coat of food-safe beeswax whenever the wood asks for it. No soaking, no dishwasher — just the kind of care a piece like this earns.
